General

This volume contains documents, primarily correspondence, that seem to relate to preparation for the U.S. led trials. Most of the documents refer to the Flick Case and the trying of alleged industrialist war criminals. The No. 1 in the title of this volume does not refer to the case number, but rather to the fact that this volume is the first of four numbered volumes dealing with the Flick Case (The United States of America against Friedrich Flick, et al.).
