This collection contains 44 volumes of bound material and 71 photographic prints that pertain to the Nuremberg Trials conducted by the International Military Tribunal from November 20, 1945 – October 1, 1946, and the subsequent trials conducted by the Office of Military Government, United States (OMGUS) Military Tribunal from December 9, 1946 – April 13, 1949.

This is a bound volume entitled Beweisdokumente f r die Spruchgerichte in der Britischen one (Evidentiary documents for the court verdict in the British Zone), published in Hamburg in 1947. The phrase “Old Lace” is a code-name which refers to the trial of former members of certain German organizations by the German tribunals under the provisions of Military Government Ordinance No 69 on 31 December 1946. This document is written entirely in German.

SD = Safety Service of the Reich Fuhrer

SS Kgf = mistreatment and murder of prisoners of war

Ly = lynchings (killing of Allied airmen from)

BesGeb = excesses during the administration of occupied territories

Germ = Germanization of incorporated areas

Skl = execution of the forced laborers - (slave owners) program

J = persecution and extermination of the Jews

KL = brutalities and killings in concentration camps

Org = Organization Questions, Miscellaneous
