Biographical / Historical

The purpose of the society is to promote student involvement within the scientific community, as well as promote the advancement of student success through the incorporation of scientific principles, community outreach, and cooperative research.

Members have exclusive access to publications, jobs/internship opportunities, and funding for research. The MBBB program is accredited by our national organization which allows eligible members to sit for a comprehensive exam towards the end of their undergraduate careers to receive special recognition in the scientific community. Additionally, members in the ASBMB Honors Society receive special graduation cords.
