Scope and Contents

The collection is composed of correspondence, minutes, reports, programs, announcements, and other material related to the governance and events created by the College of Fine Arts and Communication.

Abstract Louis Rosenthal was born in Plungyon, Lithuania on February 20, 1888, and was the sixth child of seven children of Rebecca and Hyman Chatel. In 1907, at the age of 19, he immigrated to the United States, and after a short stay in Birdsnest, Va., he moved to Baltimore, Md. to pursue a career in art.
