Biographical / Historical
In July of 1976, Towson State College became Towson State University and the President’s advisory board, the Executive Council, was re-named the President’s Staff. Meetings were held on a regular basis with top University administrators to discuss topics relevant to the day-to-day running of the school as well as issues related to outreach and work with state legislators. The materials end with the end of Hoke Smith’s presidency at Towson University in 2001.
